As many of you know, our dog Jesse has been battling cancer for about 5 months. He was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in his left leg and we chose to amputate to help relieve the pain. He bounced back from that surgery amazing well, even wanting to start running again. We knew this form of cancer is known to spread to the lungs, but we were hopeful, showering him with love and kindness as he did unconditionally for years. However, he started to fade during the last few weeks and we made the incredibly difficult decision to let him go last Thursday.

As much as we all loved Jesse, he was, unequivocally, Elizabeth’s dog. Through all his end stage complications, she was there for him, every step of the way. He gazed in to Elizabeth’s eyes as he peacefully transitioned, he will be missed by many….
